Robert is a retired barrister-at-law, and a former barrister for the High Court of Australia and Supreme Court of NSW. He started his career in the police force before owning his own law firm. Robert is a current holder of the Medal of the Order of Australia and the Queen’s Gallantry Medal for Conspicuous Bravery.

Robert has also been a continuous member of the Freemasons for the last 34 years and has been elected un-opposed on four occasions as First Grand Principal and Grand Master for NSW and ACT 2014-2018.

“Robert brings a valuable wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team as well as a strong interest in bowls”, says Women’s Bowls NSW State President, Pam Andrich. “I am sure he will be a tremendous asset to our Association”.
