Women’s Bowls NSW is pleased to welcome two new members to the board of directors, Stephen Brown (appointed position) and Barbara Shotland (casual vacancy).

Stephen has over twenty-five years of experience controlling financial, commercial and human relations functions within a large international organisation.

Barbara has served several important roles within Double Bay Women’s Bowling Club, including time as president, treasurer, and chair of match, and has spent the past two years serving on the Women’s Bowls NSW membership committee.

With the recent addition of retired barrister, Robert Peattie OAM, the total number of Women’s Bowls NSW board members currently sits at eight (in total).

“We are very lucky to have someone of Stephen’s calibre on our board”, says Women’s Bowls NSW State President, Pam Andrich. “Not only does Stephen have a great personality and attitude towards our game, but his skillset is critical to ensuring financial prosperity within our organisation.

“Barbara’s understanding of the game and experience in bowls administration is undeniable, as is her passion as a player and long-time volunteer. The current board members and I welcome both Stephen and Barbara.”
