Club Malua greens to be ready for championships, pennants

by operations

In recent weeks Club Malua Bay was severely affected by the devastating bush fires that have ravaged the state of NSW, and others, for the past few months. Pam Andrich, Women’s Bowls NSW State President, spoke to Robyn Butcher, President Malua Bay Ladies, only days ago and received some very welcoming news.

“I have just had a wonderful phone call from Robyn Butcher,” Pam says. “Jay Porter, Cabra Bowls Group CEO, attended the “hug in” at the club a few days ago. He announced the greens will be prepared ready to play on for pennants and championships. In addition, the Cabra Group are arranging for a temporary building to be erected while the new club is under construction. Robyn sounded so relieved. I am very happy for them after all they have been through.”

Once again, everyone at WBNSW would like those affected by the terrible bush fires that have wiped out homes, businesses and communities to know that we are all thinking of you in this time of need.
